The Nine Voting Lives of ACORN’s Darnell Nash
The public relations disasters keep on coming for ACORN.
A flamboyant self-identified male prostitute named Darnell Nash who boasts he is the "Queen of Cleveland Gender Benders" has been convicted of actual vote fraud --not merely voter registration fraud-- and imprisoned for a six-month term.
Nash was registered to vote nine times by ACORN. The Cleveland prosecutor's office said he hadn't yet found evidence of criminal wrongdoing by ACORN but that doesn't let ACORN off the hook: the investigation into ACORN remains open.
Nash flashed a TV reporter on camera while dressed as a woman and was reportedly also involved in a student loan scam.
ACORN's Ohio chapter had bad luck with prostitutes last year.
An Ohio woman named Shari Bell who was allegedly a crack cocaine user, prostitute, and ACORN worker, was arrested on drug and prostitution charges in October. Bell was arrested by Cincinnati police after she allegedly offered an undercover cop sex for money. Police found a crack pipe in the pocket of her coat.
