The latest news is that the GOP is amassing money to launch an ad against Donald Trump.
How stupid are they? If they follow through they will give him a reason to launch a 3rd party run.
What exactly is his crime? Too conservative? Too outspoken? Too anti-establishment? What are they afraid of? I for one will not support a party that turns on one of their own and turns against the public. I hope others will follow.
I certainly never considered Donald Trump one of my favorite people but he has stepped up to offer an alternative to the rotten-to-the-core political machine. He echoes what Americans are thinking and feeling. Could we be any worse off than we are right now? I don't think so.
I'd offer this advice to the GOP: Think twice, unintended consequences can be heck. Ross Perot gave Clinton the election and Ralph Nader gave Bush the election.
