Perhaps I can offer an explanation for the meaning of this verse and others in chapter 13 of the book of Revelation, the last book of the New Testament in the Holy Bible. It has occurred to me (or maybe it was revealed to me) that the beast is not one person, but maybe an office – like, for example, the office of the President of the United States. After all, the Antichrist is portrayed as one with great power like a Caesar of the Roman Empire, which was the office of the head of the Roman government. Thus, the beast, then, may not be simply one person, but, rather, the office of the head of a government, which can be held by a number of people over time. As an aside, if you’re into numbers, you may also want to consider that each one of the following words has six letters: United States’ Caesar.
"Wisdom is needed here; one who understands can calculate the number of the beast, for it is a number that stands for a person." (Revelations 13: 18)
I underscored the words "stands for" to emphasize the number 666 is merely meant as a cryptic, short-hand way of referring to a Caesar-like ruler who will have great power and control over us not unlike a tyrant or dictator. He will wield such power because of his office, and the seventh of these heads to hold the office, though not necessarily consecutively, will be the Antichrist. Indeed, the men I hereby name are not consecutive presidents of the United States, but because of their liberal, progressive politics, they are, I believe, the seven heads of the beast, which is a bloated, corrupt, repressive, tyrannical, dictatorial government.
Before I name them, however, let me first explain what I believe is meant by the "ten horns" mentioned in Revelations 13:1. The horn is a reference to the ominous, painfully penetrating power of the horns of a bull (a beast), and, therefore, may be interpreted as the amount of time, or years, these men will be in office and wield the great power of that office. So, the horns may be a reference to the term(s), or time in office held by the person during which they have the penetrating, pervasive power of the office. I will also explain why ten is the number of horns cited in Revelations 13: 1.
For the first head of the beast I name Woodrow Wilson, who served as president of the U.S. from 1913 to 1920, a period of eight years, meaning he essentially held the power of the office for two terms (horns). He was the first of the modern progressive Democrats, whose ultimate goal is to make the United States a socialist country. In only his first year as president, the Federal Reserve was created (under obscure circumstances when Congress was on Christmas holiday) and, also, the federal income tax was enacted to support and grow the beastly government they intended for the masses or "the collective." Wilson also initiated the push for a League of Nations to achieve the ultimate goal of the progressive Democrats: a one-world socialist government under one-party rule – a socialist, communist, fascist, dictatorial party.
To the second head of the beast I attach the name of FDR, under whom the giant Ponzi scheme we now refer to as "Social Security" was created to drive the U.S. inexorably to become a socialistic welfare state. Due to World War II and the American people’s reluctance to change leadership during such a time of crisis, FDR was elected to four terms, but he died during his fourth term. Therefore, he actually held power from 1933 to 1945, a period of about twelve years, which is essentially three terms (horns) for FDR. Thus, the number of horns, so far, is 2 + 3 = 5.
The next liberal progressive on my presidential list is JFK, because I consider Harry Truman, based on what I’ve read about him, to be basically a decent, down-to-earth, conservative Christian and the last decent Democrat to be president. His name "Truman" befits his character. JFK, on the other hand, was definitely a womanizing pretty-boy whose rich, mobster-connected father helped to steal the presidency in 1960 via massive voter fraud, a practice that the progressive Democrats have become increasingly adept at perpetrating over the years. It’s no wonder they are so vehemently opposed to voter-photo-ID and so eager to eliminate the Electoral College system our divinely inspired Founding Fathers created to try and protect the presidency from being stolen by the rabble, who are led today, of course, by the corrupt, liberal Democrats. JFK held power for about three years or one term (horn), which brings the horn total to six.
Furthermore, JFK is the head that was "mortally wounded" (Revelations 13: 3). It was "healed" or restored in the sense that the U.S. Constitution (probably the most elegant, ingenious governing document ever created) provided for a peaceful hand-over of power to the vice-president of the time, the totally obnoxious, sleazy and disgusting LBJ, who also held power for essentially one term (horn), basically from 1964 to 1968, in which he sought to outdo even FDR by pushing his massive Great Society welfare and affirmative-action agenda. LBJ’s term brings the total number of horns, so far, to seven.
The other despicable liberals on the list are Carter and Clinton, who did everything they could to further and broaden the massive, bankrupting FDR-LBJ welfare state agenda. Carter held office for a single term (horn) in which he started the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). Clinton was president for two terms, during which he expanded upon the CRA, which ultimately led to the "Housing Bubble" with the corrupt Democrats and their crooked cronies running Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, pushing for outrageous, unjustifiable loans to people who could not repay, and thus leading to the current world-wide financial crisis that persists to this day. The Carter and Clinton terms (horns) bring the horn total to the ten horns cited in Revelations 13: 1.
Yet, I have mentioned only six heads. The seventh, of course, belongs to the current abominable occupant of the Oval Office. This shady man of mystery – who was not vetted by the liberal media or the disingenuous Democrats, and who persistently refuses to release his background documents to prove he, in fact, satisfies the citizenship requirements of the U.S. Constitution – came "out of the sea" from Hawaii and Indonesia, the latter a Muslim nation (and he, himself, is the son of a Muslim, which, according to their beliefs, makes him a Muslim, hence a non-Christian, and, if you will, the Antichrist), to complete the "fundamental transformation" of the United States to a fascist dictatorship under the despicable, diabolical, socialist Democrats.
"The beast I saw was like a leopard, but it had feet like a bear’s, and its mouth was like the mouth of a lion. To it the dragon gave its own power and throne, along with great authority." (Revelations 13: 2)
Does the present "president" not walk with the svelte, easy sway of a leopard? Like a "cool cat" on the prowl? Are his feet (and also the footprint of his office) not big like a bear’s so his boot will be heavy upon our throats? Does this surly, insidious impostor not speak like a lion with a voice that can roar, but which can also be unctuous and mesmerizingly smooth – the latter, especially, when he has the benefit of a script and a teleprompter?
If it’s ever proven that this frightening fraud does not meet the citizenship requirements to be president, as defined in Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution, then everything he will have signed into law will be illegal. Furthermore, he and those who "certified" that he met all the requirements to be president – one of whom is the (as of this writing) current Democrat Speaker of the House – will be subject to criminal prosecution. His illegitimacy would make illegal the entire 2008 Democrat ticket for president. The winning ticket, therefore, would and should be the "runners-up," i.e., the 2008 Republican candidates for president and vice-president. Perhaps the proof that he’s a fraud would help save us from his evil Marxist pseudo-presidency which has resulted in the monstrous Obamacare and the other beastly, lousy legislation that he has signed – like, for example, the similarly heinous "Financial Reform" bill. All of this terrible legislation that he has endorsed will be null and void if he is proven to be the radical, Constitution-trashing fraud that I believe he really is.
Remember, always, how he and his Democrats, with total and utter disregard and disdain of the majority of Americans, shoved and rammed the genocidal, bureaucratic monstrosity of Obamacare down our throats. These diabolical, progressive Democrats had the shameless, unmitigated gall to call their unreadable, unread, 2400+ page legislative trash "Health Care Reform." When you’re waiting (perhaps forever) in the long health care line(s), remember the secretive, corrupt deal-making that resulted in the blatant, in-your-face rot and the bribes like the "Cornhusker Kickback" and the "Louisiana Purchase."
Remember the arm-twisting, and the Chicago thug tactics the Democrats used to get their monstrous "Health Care Reform" act passed into law. Yeah, it’s not just a bill any more. It’s the law of the land now, and coming at us like a long, rumbling freight train, steadily gaining bureaucratic mass and momentum, and bearing down on us who are tied to the tracks. We will be crushed by this oncoming Obamacare monstrosity unless we can elect decent, conservative people with courage, conviction, and strong backbones who will repeal and replace it with legislation that will actually improve the health care system by reducing the fraud and lowering the costs – not by "redistributing the wealth" and ultimately ruining the health of most Americans, except maybe "the historically disadvantaged" to be served by the numerous bureaucratic minority agencies cited in this monstrous, multi-serpentine law.
After all, who do you think will have access to your personal, computerized data, and who will be using the criteria of (Dare I say it?) race, age and sex notwithstanding, to decide whether you receive any medical care, if at all? Who gets those good government jobs now with their great benefits and job security? Got to keep those affirmative-action beneficiaries at the front of the line(s), you know, so they won’t file lawsuits, as they are so eager to do, only now it will be against the government, i.e., against us, the U.S. taxpayers, and not just against private businesses and corporations. This next query, however, has a different answer: Who do you think will be paying for the health care you’ll never get?
Wake up, America! Spread these words far and wide. Stop the voter fraud and the gerrymandering. Stand up to the thugs, be strong, and believe that together we can reclaim our country. As our divinely inspired Founding Fathers intended, we can secure our liberty and freedom for ourselves, our children, our posterity and prosperity. We must reduce spending and the size of the federal government, and we could begin by eliminating the U.S. Department of Education, along with other unnecessary agencies, and returning more control to the States as The Founders envisioned.
We must renew our respect for the U.S. Constitution and treat it like the sacred document it is. It should be taught and studied in our junior high and senior high school citizenship and history classes so that our children will have a keen appreciation for it and its amendments and the amendment process. They should also be taught about federalism and
The Federalist Papers so they will know that these topics are all about LIMITED GOVERNMENT – that they do NOT refer to, and they do NOT favor, a big federal government – as these terms alone might lead one to erroneously think. Also, our law schools should place more emphasis on the U.S. Constitution, instead of case law – because liberal, activist judges (who view the Constitution as a "living document," i.e., one that can be interpreted as they wish) have perverted our laws and criminally used their positions to "legislate" from the bench. There should be periodic reviews of ALL judges, even the justices on the U.S. Supreme Court, with the criteria being "Do their decisions reflect and adhere to the philosophy and principles of the U.S. Constitution and
