The strong arm of government

So, I guess that every single federal facility had an inventory of "Closed due to the impact of Government shutdown" signs, alternate website information was prepared and so forth.

Because on day one of the partial shutdown, up went the signs. I wonder at what cost? And I am also presuming that there were funds set aside in a Shut Down Enforcement Account, for all the people required to police federal ocean areas and to make sure no one strayed onto park properties or monuments. The extent of the preparedness and the strong arm of enforcement would indicate this was expected if not orchestrated. Thank you, Richard Rock Port Charlotte, FL
