On this soon fading evening of Memorial Day 2026, my thoughts and prayers travel all the way from an Acadian Nova Scotia fishing village to Indiana where longtime heroic homeless veteran champion Robert Rosebrock now lives.
Just as so many fallen soldiers in Arlington are bypassed by the so-called ‘legacy media’ on the very day called to honor them, so is Rosebrock who spent the better part of his life trying to bring homeless veterans at the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Affairs (GLAVA) park calling public attention to America’s abandoned homeless veterans.
On each and every Memorial Day for a span of decades, Rosebrock, the unsung, faithful hero of homeless war vets tried valiantly to bring America’s homeless war vets out of the cold and rain into the land lawfully deeded to them from as far back as 1888.
‘God bless Robert Rosebrock who dedicated his lifetime to bring Homeless war vets HOME’-Canada Free Press headline, Feb. 24, 2017:
Only four days ago, Rosebrock sent an email praising Canada Free Press for its work.
I responded, Thank You so much for reading CFP, Bob, you are—and always will be—a big part of it!”
President Trump, isn’t it time that true-to-life champion of homeless veterans Robert Rosebrock to be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom?
Thank You for your anticipated attention to this matter!
