The Virginia General Assembly finally settles the Aquaculture war in York County.

Looks like the good guys, oyster lovers, job seekers & the Chesapeake Bay finally win !!! This week, the Va General Assembly voted 128 to 5 to allow aquaculture wherever the cities/counties have zoned for commercial agriculture !!! In other words city/county leaders cannot stop oyster farmers from using their land if the city/county has already zoned it for a pig or buffalo farm.... makes sense to me!! So after tens of thousands of legal expenses, and major impediments/disruptions from York County leaders, my family Forbidden Oysters® farm can continue to provide oysters all across America. My County officials just called an ALL-Day, unplanned, unannounced meeting for this Saturday !!! I wonder what the meeting is about? Greg Garrett
