Was Hillary Comey’s Book Editor? ‘Comey: Trump wanted me to DISPROVE 'golden showers' for Melania’ is the blaring headline about fired FBI director James Comey’s book on the Internet this morning. A gossip-obsessed schoolboy could have written this book. A seriously embittered Hillary Clinton could have edited it.
‘A Higher Loyalty’ is unabashedly all about former MI6 spy Christopher Steele’s roundly debunked “golden showers” Donald Trump smear, paid for by a seriously embittered Hillary Clinton; a fallacious smear that ambitiously aimed to take a president down but widely missed its mark. One can almost see Clinton leaning over Comey as he pounded away on his computer keys. Proof of Clinton’s editing of the Comey book is as elusive as proof that Clinton used a bathroom server for her emails after a Comey-led FBI stepped into the picture. But shades of Hillary are all over ‘A Higher Loyalty’. Comey wanted folk to know that he is taller by five inches than Trump; that just as Glenn Beck, Rosie O’Donnell contend, Trump is not white or black but orange; that Comey’s marriage is more secure than Trump’s yada, yada, yada. All that’s missing here are accusations that Trump’s mother wore army boots. “The book seems calculated to offend Trump. The 6-foot-8 Comey describes the president - described by the White House doctor as 6 foot 3 - as shorter than he expected with a 'too long' tie. (AP/DailyMail, April 12, 2018)
“His 'face appeared slightly orange, with bright white half-moons under his eyes where I assumed he placed small tanning goggles, and impressively coiffed, bright blond hair, which upon close inspection looked to be all his’. 'I remember wondering how long it must take him in the morning to get that done.’ “He also says he made a conscious effort to check the president's hand size, saying they were 'smaller than mine, but did not seem unusually so.' “
No wonder this gossipy ace sleuth made it to the top of the FBI. The 63 million who voted for Trump—or roughly half the country—will file these revelations under “information we didn’t need to know”, or maybe ‘who the blankety-blank cares’?! But it is his comparing his marriage to Trump’s (Comey’s “my marriage is better than yours”) where the real James Comey shines through:
“He sensationally reveals how the president wanted him to investigate the notorious claims he ordered 'golden showers' at a Moscow hotel because 'it bothered him if there was 'even a one per cent chance' his wife, Melania, thought it was true’. (AP/Daily Mail) “Comey says Trump called the tape the 'golden showers thing', and that he wondered about the state of the president's marriage as there was 'zero chance' his own wife would believe such a claim against him.”
This assertion would be cringe-worthy enough to show that it wasn’t Comey’s spouse who leaned over his shoulder while he was writing his book, even though he owned up to his wife and daughters having been participants in the pro-Hillary pink pu**y Big Women’s March the day after Trump’s inauguration. In general ‘A Higher Loyalty’, which blasts Trump as “unethical” and “untethered to the truth” and calling his leadership of the country ‘ego driven and about personal loyalty”, proves Comey is only loyal to James Comey. We don’t know what the book will do to buoy colleague Robert Mueller III’s special counsel. But we do know that Comey bragged “Obama praised him after Clinton lost:

“Clinton claims that it cost her the election but Comey discloses an intriguing detail which may re-open the once-buried hostility between her and Obama: that Obama did not criticize him for what he did. (AP/Daily Mail) “In fact the then president went out of his way to make sure he knew he was happy. 'I picked you to be FBI director because of your integrity and your ability,' Obama told him in the Oval Office after the election. 'I want you to know that nothing – nothing – has happened in the last year to change my view.'  “Comey is said to have written that he was close to tears. 'Boy, were those words I needed to hear . . . I’m just trying to do the right thing,' he told the president, who responded: 'I know. I know.’
Hillary Clinton must have been out walking in the Chappaqua woods, sipping on Chardonnay when that telling tidbit made it into Comey’s book.
