Many moons ago, a close police officer friend, one day told me straight out of the blue, “Thank God that you’re not rich.”
When I asked him why he would say that, he answered, “because if you were rich, you’d be dead by now.”
This happened back in the days when Canada Free Press was a Toronto-based print journal, known as ‘Toronto Free Press’ (TFP), when we were being threatened and harassed by far left school board trustees and city councillors.
Before founding TFP, I was a Toronto Sun reporter/columnist, where I was writing about what was called back then, ‘Heritage Language,’ when grade school children were taken out of home classrooms to study foreign languages such as Swahilli, while their classmates who stayed behind were taught how to read tea leaves.
At the peak of the Sun’s reportage on Heritage Language, police attended a Toronto Board of Education meeting where a vote would be taken on Heritage Language, in their words, “to sustain public safety”. Needless to say that I was more than relieved that they were able to stop a deranged activist who ran toward me with a knife during the meeting.
Nowadays, CFP lives on hostile territory in rural Nova Scotia, where even that far away from Washington, TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) seems to be running rampant.
Canadian TDS reached a new peak when central banker, WEF-controlled Mark Carney, who blamed President Donald Trump for Canada’s financial decline, rather than 11 straight yeas of Liberal Government rule, rose to power.
Carney’s takeover of Canada leaves this country in a seemingly unbreakable flux— where he is now actively leading an anti-American New World Order for dramatic globalist change, threatening not just Canada and the U.S., but the whole of Western Civilization.
Thus far, no one has stepped up to try to stop him.
Bills, C-9 and C-22, with more on the way passed without debate, before he released Liberal MPS for a 3-month-long summer recess.
Yet, in all of this, somehow the light of truth sometimes comes shining through, and for me the light came through in an unexpected way from one of our own columnists. I won’t name him, because he is an American father of two beautiful tween-age children, a boy and a girl, his main wish being to stay as long as he can with them before being taken away by the terminal disease, from which he has suffered for the past several years.
The light of truth arrived in an emailed message, after I told him that because we are now undergoing a stabilizing effort to keep CFP online, I wouldn’t have time to proof and have his column posted.
This is what he wrote back:
“Hi Judi,
“You've always been more than fair.
“Who would have thought that the world would get this crazy? If I had not been reading and know better, I would have thought you were exaggerating.”
It just dawned on me that this loving father of two sent this message yesterday, on Father’s Day.
What he wrote “Who would have thought that the world would get this crazy?” is so sadly true.
“If I had not been reading and know better, I would have thought you were exaggerating,” sent tingles down my back.
Are readers and other writers thinking that I, in my writing about the current state of Canada under Carney, “exaggerating”?
How many of us close our ears to the Truth because we want the convenience of going through life believing that things will be alright if we just ignore it and keep right on trucking?
How many of us ignore the advance of godless communism in North America because we lack the courage to fight it, face-on?
Thank You dear father of two columnist for waking me up to the reality of what is happening to us at CFP—and to so many unsuspecting others.
I pray that the Eternal Father will keep you in your loving wife and children’s lives as long as possible.
Meanwhile, I trust that all CFP readers and columnists will have patience with us while we struggle to stabilize truth-telling Canada Free Press, as we fight to stay online.
