Wouldn't it be a wonderful idea to publicize all the statistics regarding the Affordable Care Act? Here is the issue:

1. How many people were on Medicaid before and after the Act?
2. Setting Medicaid aside, what is the net increase of those covered-those who lost insurance vs. those that gained?
3. How much did each newly cover cost, new agencies, new employees,state and personal subsidies, etc., the true cost?
4. Are there cheaper ways to deliver healthcare? And what are they?
5. How many people are paying more than they were before?
6. How many people have less coverage?
7. How many people lost their doctors?

We are fed the information one convenient bite at a time, never the whole picture. Americans tend to look for the easy way out. In this case, fighting to keep Obamacare rather than working and maybe compromising to build a better system. And this time, let's do it with at least some players from both sides of the aisle. We should begin with some things we all agree on, like insuring young people under their parents until age 26.
