Gov. Ron DeSantis announces PROSECUTIONS are coming for anyone abandoning their DOG or pet in the path of Hurricane Isaias landfall tonight
This comes after someone left a DOG to DIE on the side of the road before Milton, but the dog was RESCUED before anything could happen
"That you'd tie a dog up on the side of the freeway?"
That dog, Trooper, was found tied to a fence on I-75 in Tampa with floodwaters rising. A Florida Highway Patrol trooper pulled him out
After that, Florida passed "Trooper's Law," making it a FELONY to leave a dog tied up and stranded during a disaster
TAKE YOUR PETS. Give them to a free hurricane shelter.
