5 women were taken to the hospital after a car drove by and launched acid on them in Jersey City
The 5 women were standing outside a building when a group drove by in a car and threw what police suspect to be sulfuric acid onto them
Police say they believe the women were targeted after an incident earlier involving a large group of people, but the investigation is ongoing.
All 5 victims were transported to a hospital in non-life-threatening condition and treated for skin burns and peeling.
