9/11, a Quarter Century of Losing Wars

It has been twenty-five years since the brutal unprovoked massacre of American civilians by Islamists. A friend, who like myself was also in Manhattan during 9/11, and has since had the wisdom to get the hell out of Mamdanistan, just wrote me that then New York City had America’s mayor and now it has Comrade Mamdani.

But Mamdani isn't really Comrade Mamdani. He and other Muslims are shrewdly using communism to undermine and rot the pillars that the United States stood on--patriotism, Christianity, and humanism. That is, the values that once characterized humanism, not the humanism of today, namely, a belief in personal responsibility, a belief in the value of life and an appreciation of freedom and of free enterprise.

Today's lefties and the trendy LGBTQ2+ brigade are being used for suckers by Islamists, and we'll see how well they fare once Islam takes over.

Look at how well they do in the terrorist run Gaza Strip that Britain, France, Spain, Ireland, all of Europe and the Democrat party here, fawn over. Flying lessons anyone?

Twenty-Five Years Ago

On Tuesday, September 11, 2001, I arrived at Hunter College, Manhattan. It was a little after 9:00 am and I was teaching a course that was starting 9:30 am.

There was a television in the lobby.

And the people there were transfixed by something that was being reported, a plane had hit one of the World Trade Center towers.

Then I went to the classroom to begin class. Classes were not canceled yet. But is was already known to be terrorism.

I taught my first class that day, Sensation and Perception. I was then to go to teach my next course. But college was canceled after the first class.

I concluded that class by telling the students that every statement in the textbook is followed by a reference to the scientific evidence for that statement. If there's a new edition of the textbook, it will contain new references, describing new scientific findings.

9/11 was an attack on civilization, a very successful attack. Barbarism has won, civilization is disappearing

This is the self-correcting scientific method. But there won't necessarily be a new edition of the textbook. The attack was perpetrated by those who do not recognize the concept of objective reality.

There was no subway running in Manhattan.I walked over the 59th Street Bridge (Now known as the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge) with thousands of other people to reach Queens. Arriving in Queens, it was too far to walk home. However, the subway, while still not running between Queens and Manhattan, started running in Queens.

When I finally got home there were a bunch of emails from friends and relatives inquiring if I was alright.

This was a long time ago. I don't know what I would have done today. I certainly couldn't have walked today. Twenty-five years is a long time in the lifespan of an individual. I know where I'll be in another 25 years, a cemetery.

It's not a long time in the history of a country.

It's a few seconds in the history of a country. And in those few seconds, the United States has been lost. 9/11 was an attack on civilization, a very successful attack. Barbarism has won, civilization is disappearing.

If the generation that won World War II was the greatest generation, it was followed by baby boomers who invented burning the American flag. And those who grew up since 9/11 were indoctrinated to hate the United States and to root for the enemies of the United States.

9/11 has often been compared to Pearl Harbor. But the attack on Pearl Harbor was followed by nuclear bombs being dropped on Japan.

The attack on 9/11 was followed by the victims identifying with the perpetrators and supporting the cause of the perpetrators. It was followed by Mamdani.

Leftists control the language, determining what it is forbidden to say and what is required to be said, in academia, the entertainment industry, and the media.

Once communists in the United States banned calling them socialists. Now communists want to be called “democratic socialists”. Still, don’t call them communists! But they are communists. They are Stalinists and Maoists. If given the chance, they will massacre tens of millions like Stalin, Lenin, and Mao.

It is dogma in the red-green alliance that the United States deserved 9/11. Some Democrat politicians will dance around it. But Democrats or demon-rats, as they should be known, believe it. You could fill a book with evidence for this. And I'm sure someone has or will. So I'll be brief about it.

What Has the Country Learned?

What has the United States learned in the twenty-five years since the 9/11 terrorist attack? It learned that Islam and communism are just and are to be promoted. It has learned that Christianity and capitalism are evil and are to be eliminated. We will see exactly how beneficial this lesson will be.
