A new survey shows that more than half of Canadians are now forced to take on debt to afford to eat
Just another part of the "new normal" in Mark Carney's Canada
- 60.6% said they skipped meals
- over half lines of credit or payday loans to buy groceries in the past 6 months
- two-fifths of Canadians delayed paying a bill so they could buy groceries in the past 6 months.
This is a made-in-Canada problem and we need a made in Canada solution.
