Just yesterday, Klein refused to show up at the Boca Raton Federation of Homeowners Forum, instead sending a DVD of his character assassination ads to "speak" on his behalf. For a League of Women Voters Candidate Forum scheduled for tonight, Klein tried to strong-arm the hosts into changing the format because it sounded too much like a debate, and not enough like a "candidate forum." And his desperation takes a sharp turn to the left on Monday when President Obama and Nancy Pelosi come down for a posh, high dollar fundraiser to help Klein raise money to continue attacking my family and me. At over $17,500 to attend, it is clear that Klein is completely out of touch with the average American, and has offered up for sale his votes in Congress to the far left wing of his party. If Ron Klein cared about you, he, Obama and Pelosi would leave their closed door, high roller fundraiser, and drive by our shuttered businesses and foreclosed homes. Unemployment has almost reached a staggering 13% in South Florida, and foreclosures are on the rise, making our region among the worst in the nation for foreclosure rates. If Klein cared about your opinions, he'd have the courage to face each of you in an open forum, where he and I could have an honest debate about the issues.
