Assault and destruction of property is not a right

Here's a message every candidate, every party leader, every newscaster, and every citizen should send: we will not tolerate the sort of childish and unproductive behavior we are witnessing at campaign events. There are other more adult ways to show your disagreement with a candidate or an issue. Speak up, write a letter to the editor, get involved with an activist group, use social media. You are not well served by acting like a thug. And a funny thing, you may actually advance the fortunes of those you are protesting.

You have freedom of speech, you have freedom of assembly. You do NOT have the freedom to destroy property or to harm others. So be very careful who you hang out with, you may find yourself in a situation that gets out of control when emotions are running high.
