Bill Maher, Donna Brazile, Affordable Care Act

Buzzards circling

Much like the Swallows returning to Capistrano, the Buzzards are roosting in Washington D.C.
It all started when Donna Brazile, liberal columnist, apologist and independent spokesperson for all things Obamanesque, complained to her insurance professional her Medical Insurance premiums were rising noticeably. Secondarily, she really expected everything Obamacare advertised was honest, integrity over-loaded and most importantly, able to be realized fiscally without increases in the cost to consumers. Such uncontrolled optimism belies her education (LSU Graduate.). But, Obama’s uncontrolled rejection of bifocals to examine the intricacies of the law as written, in favor of rose colored glasses shading a lovely picture of universal acceptance and “Kumbaya” cooperation, didn’t really involve truth. Truth might have caused Ms. Brazile to recognize some things are simply too good to be true.

Next came, Bill Maher, small, talentless man, but packing a Bachelor’s degree in English and History from Cornell University. He’s allegedly a comedian but lost his funny bone when he said specifically after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center: "We have been the cowards. Lobbing cruise missiles from two thousand miles away. That's cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building. Say what you want about it. Not cowardly. You're right." His glorification of the terrorists launched this attack has shown him to be the insensitive, uncontrolled fool he is. But the real knee slapper came from the mouth of this bane when he complained he was being taxed too much. What he actually said was: “This is the point that I’m trying is that, you know, that’s why I showed it after Obama saying ‘it has to begin with the people, the people have to put the pressure on the politicians.’ It’s hopeless here because the people are morons. They don’t know what to tell the politicians. They are complete idiots. And whenever I hear, ‘Oh, we need a government as good as the people.’ The people are worse. The people don’t know anything. How much is salaries? What percentage? If I drew a chart, you couldn’t see it without a jeweler’s eye. Or foreign aid, the two things they want to cut.” In response to John Feehery, a GOP strategist who said: “… you’re going to have to pay a lot more in taxes, Bill. I heard you said you don’t like paying taxes. The fact is you’ve got to pay a lot more taxes.” Maher replied; “What I said was there’s a limit.” Real Clear Politics (3-23-2013) It would be nice if Maher remembered some of us protested the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) when it was first rammed down the throat of the American people illegally as it was based in the Senate. It’s not a penalty for non-adherence with the “law.” The punishment is a TAX. Taxes, by Constitutional mandate, are generated in the House of Representatives; this is the constitutional basis the idiots in Congress have yet to challenge before the Supreme Court. Now who’s the idiot, you moron? Kathleen Sibelius, Doyen of the Department of Health and Human Services has admitted: “some men and younger customers could see their rates increase while women and older customers could see their rates drop.” Did you catch, that Ms. Brazile? It was planned from the beginning that premium rates would increase. Because you’re a success you must pay for those not successful, whether by their choice or by circumstances. But in the first place it must be admitted somebody must pay for the privilege of medical coverage. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say you get a free ride. Nowhere in the Bill of Rights does it say you can take from the public coffers and NOT have to give back and replace what you’ve used. Nowhere does it say Marx was right in his theories of the social standing of this, or any other, nation and its populace. The Buzzards are circling and they’re finally admitting what so many of us understood from the beginning; the Affordable Care Act is a tax levied against those who care so as to support those who don’t care about themselves or others: politicians. Y’all got that? Thanks for listening
