Neither the best screen writers nor the most talented novelists could imagine what is playing out before our eyes.
Following the grand gesture of normalizing Cuban American relations, the President traveled there only to look awkward and out of place and to be ridiculed as clueless by Fidel Castro. Didn't any of his handlers see that coming? Meanwhile, back at home, Kasich and Cruz, previously arch rivals, scheme to overthrow the frontrunner for the seat soon to be vacated by the clueless President. On the other side of the race we have a self proclaimed Socialist and a former First Lady who faces possible indictment for failing to secure classified information, lying about the raids on the Libyan Embassy and money laundering through the foundation established by her and her husband. Overseas, havoc is wrecked by enemies of our country and still the clueless one fails to see the danger and continue denies the existence of said evil. Counterparts of the clueless one from other countries avoid any appearance of common goals or beliefs. At home, the subjects of the clueless one are suffering a poor economy, lousy healthcare, a decimated military, abandoned veterans, heavy debt, an assault on religious freedom, and an education system in shambles. And the final indignity, a country overridden by illegals who are given more rights and benefits than legal citizens. The subjects in the kingdom are angry even as the clueless one goes around the world, apologizing for his people and ridiculing his kingdom, aided by the media. When Camelot is no more, everybody wonders why. Jennie Veary Englewood, FL
