Curious spin on the killing of Osama Bin Laden

I'm not sure if Vice President Biden doesn't know the meaning of the word audacious or if he is just audacious enough to believe he can convince us of his curious spin on the killing of Osama Bin Laden.

VP Biden has declared that the raid and the killing of Bin Laden was the most audacious (boldest) action taken by the United States in 500 years. Don't you find his view of our history troubling? More audacious than our own quest for independence? More audacious than storming the beaches of Normandy? More audacious than Rosa Parks taking a seat on that bus? More audacious than Neil Armstrong's walk on the moon? More audacious than Ronald Reagan saying "tear down this wall"? More audacious than Women's Suffrage? More audacious than the Emancipation Proclamation? Come on. Getting Bin Laden was something that needed to be done. And if anyone should get the credit, it is the Navy Seals who carried out the raid. Now that, folks, was audacious. But the President's decision, while I'm sure was difficult, was far from audacious. And far, far, far from being the most audacious act in 500 years.
