Pro-lifers everywhere are watching the Louisiana abortion pill lawsuit unfold with hope. It could spell the end of abortion pills through the mail.
The lawsuit against telehealth abortions (the abortion pill sent through the mail after a remote screening) is winding its way through the courts. Sadly, the US Supreme Court lifted a lower court’s injunction on May 14, so abortion facilities around the country can still mail it. It may be a matter of time, though, before telehealth abortion is restricted.
Unfortunately, abortion providers are already figuring out a way to get around the law.
Most pro-lifers (as well as many pro-life OB/GYNS) would agree that it is safer for abortion seekers to be examined and screened in person before being sold the abortion pill. ---More...
