DEI Dies a Glorious Death

The progressive, liberal, socialist Democrat children are outraged by President Trump’s dissolution of DEI in the federal government. What has happened is that the Lefties didn’t notice that corporate America started terminating DEI as soon as the November 5^th election was over because it has proven to be a failed strategy both operationally and financially. Lefties don’t seem to understand that in private enterprises, performance is based on the bottom line of the financial statement. The only thing that counts is profit or loss, and DEI damaged the bottom line.

DEI is nothing more than a variation on what communism is all about

Do you suppose that even a Lefty like Mark Cuban used DEI to hire members of the Dallas Mavericks? Yah; me neither. A winning team means hiring the best players he can afford. In every for profit business, the formula for success is to hire the best qualified people that can be hired.

Now, a test for you that will determine just how committed you are to the concept of DEI. There are just two simple questions.

1. When you go to your seat on an airliner, do you want the best pilot in the world flying the airplane or a minimally qualified pilot that is a DEI hire?

2. If you were to have open heart surgery, do you want the most highly qualified heart surgeon available or minimally qualified DEI doctor?

If you choose the best qualified, common sense has prevailed. If you were good with the DEI selection, you are a moron.

DEI is nothing more than a variation on what communism is all about. It is also government sanctioned discrimination on a national scale. DEI and wokeism were soundly rejected by the American voters on November 5, 2024. The liberal outrage demonstrates that the political left has completely missed the message about what Americans want and will tolerate.

In summary, DEI was a horribly bad idea in theory and proved to be even worse when tried by many different industries. Good riddance, DEI!
