Embracing The Light In The Darkest of Times

Now that pure evil has beset us, topped off on Friday with Joe Biden’s awarding the until now much cherished Presidential Medal of Freedom to both George Soros and Hillary Clinton, I sometimes count on other things to transport me away from the ominous looming dark.

Brian, myself and our little Yorkie dog, ‘Yankee’ had been going a couple of times a month to watch the sun set over breathtakingly beautiful Lobster Bay, a mere 5-minute drive from our Nova Scotia home.

We headed back to Lobster Bay to calm our worries

Watching the sun going down over the majestic Atlantic Ocean, we thank Almighty God for being so near to His wondrous Creation, the Ocean while listening to Fats Domino’s marvellous rendition of ‘Red Sails In The Sunset’ on our Ipad.

On July 14, the day after the assassination attempt on Donald J. Trump’s life, having watched it live on the ‘Net while we worked on posting the Butler, Pa rally to CFP’s front page, we couldn’t shake from our minds, images of President Trump with blood streaming down from his wounded ear.

We headed back to Lobster Bay to calm our worries, knowing down at heart that other attempts on the president’s life would be made by vile enemies who would be willing to do anything to keep DJ Trump from ever being inaugurated as America’s 47th President.

It worked. Watching the waves crashing on the shore rocks, looking out over miles of ocean, breathing in the salt water air, brought home the reality that God Almighty is in charge; that it was God who saved the president’s life in Butler, Pa, and God Who will continue to protect his life straight through to the scheduled January 20 Inauguration Day.

Don’t let anything they do demoralize you. Your families and close friends depend on you seeing them through

Over this holiday season, Brian compiled a list of what he called “Judi’s Favorite Songs, which of course, included Fats Domino’s ‘Red Sails In The Sunset’. Brian emailed me the list and made it public. It came back today with comments, such as @William Henry 9609, comment: “The chorus is fantastic and stupendous and other worldly. The orchestration just superb”.

My exact summation, and the summation of hundreds of other commenters of the hauntingly beautiful song!

Over the holidays, I also read an article that Prayer, Reading and Music can spare down-at-heart folk from bouts of depression and even dementia.

Prayer is the most powerful one in finding relief from worry, and anxiety because it is true that God hears our prayers and places His Divine Providence into the lives of all those who believe in Him.

In the 15 days leading to January 20 that seem like forever, the Democrats and their destructive supporters are fixing to distress all of those looking for better days through the Almighty.

Don’t let anything they do demoralize you. Your families and close friends depend on you seeing them through.

Pray as often and as fervently as you can.

Remember, the diabolic Democrats don’t want you to pray or even to hope for better days ahead.

But God, still in his Heaven after all that they have done, and are planning to do, is looking down on us.
