For The Little People, Every Day Life Goes On

If there is one specific point driven home in CFP’s new Nova Scotia house by the sea, it’s that everyday life goes on without Justin Trudeau and other ‘world leaders’ just as it has in this little village and elsewhere. The sun rises and sets with each passing day without the help or hindrance of any politician. Farmers till their fields as they have for centuries. Shepherds still watch over their flocks by night. Life goes on for little people in many places.

Seasons come and seasons go that have nothing to do with Global Warming/Climate Change—but everything to do with God’s Creation. In the beautiful fishing village that Canada Free Press now calls home, lobster fishermen brought in their traps yesterday. Other fresh fish will remain available on the market, but the next lobster season must wait until November. Canada’s prime minister cannot relate to farmers, fishermen or truckers. Having been born to a life of privilege as a Trust Fund Baby, he’s never had to live under a hard scrabble existence like a farmer, fisherman, single mother or anyone who has to actually work for a living. Born to a prime minister father who jokingly called his 50 years ago birth “Just in time”, Justin grew up in his father’s La La Land. Politically exploiting his father’s fame from 1970’s ‘Trudeau Mania’, Trudeau the younger came into power through Barack Obama’s top campaign team members and the Liberal government’s bought-and-paid-for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in September 2015. Trudeau the Elder was — described as “a racy bachelor with penchant for flowers in his lapel, fast sportscars, judo and scarves. “He wooed Canada with irreverent un-Canadianly immodest” (Iconic Photos, April 9, 2010). The New York Times wrote that he was “remote from the ordinary people of Canada.” (NY Times, June 7, 1979) A perfect description of Justin Trudeau!

Only a bully would hide himself away from peacefully protesting truckers before freezing the bank accounts of truckers and their supporters. Only yesterday the Trudeau government announced that it would temporarily “decriminalize” some drug possession to tackle an abuse problem: “Canada will temporarily decriminalize the possession of some illegal drugs like cocaine, MDMA and opioids for personal use by adults in British Columbia (B.C.) to help tackle a burgeoning drug abuse problem in the province, the government said on Tuesday. (National Post, May 31, 2022)

“The substances would remain illegal, but adults found in possession of up to 2.5 grams of the illicit substances will no longer be arrested, charged or have their drugs seized, according to an official statement. “B.C., Canada’s westernmost province and the epicenter of the country’s overdose crisis, had requested the federal government for such an exemption in November. “The exemption, a first in Canada, is intended to reduce the stigma associated with substance use and make it easier for people to approach law enforcement and other authorities to seek guidance.

““Eliminating criminal penalties for those carrying small amounts of illicit drugs for personal use will reduce stigma and harm and provide another tool for British Columbia to end the overdose crisis,” said federal Minister of Mental Health and Addictions Carolyn Bennett. “The exemption will be in effect from Jan. 31, 2023 to Jan. 31, 2026 and police will offer information on available health and social supports instead of punishing those found in possession of small amounts of exempt drugs. “The federal government will work with the province to analyze the exemption and may make real time adjustments if changes are required, Bennett said. “The exemption would not apply to airports, schools and members of the Canadian military. “Over 26,000 people died from opioid-related overdoses roughly between 2016 and 2021 across Canada. Since 2016 in B.C., when the province declared a public health emergency, over 9,400 deaths have been recorded due to overdose. “Substance use is a public health issue, not a criminal one,” said B.C.’s Minister of Mental Health and Addictions Sheila Malcolmson, adding that the exemption will help the province in fighting the crisis.”

Meanwhile, Canada has been walked backwards ever since Justin Trudeau ceded the country’s sovereignty to Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum (WEF)—and got away with it.
