Giving up US Sovereignty

As the President faces the ever increasing possibility of being a one term President, he is putting the pedal to the metal to make sure his initiatives are implemented, by hook or by crook, before he loses his power and influence.

Take the Arms Trade Treaty which President Bush rejected, as has Obama up until now. Now, suddenly, we are willing to participate in this world-wide policing program. Why is that? With his Presidency waning and with it Eric Holder's reign of terror, he wants to make sure that the United States is weakened in every way possible. And this Treaty would do a pretty good job of taking from us one of our basic freedoms. Remember that one reason Japan did not invade the US west coast during World War II was their knowledge that American households were armed. That is true today. If, in fact, our strength comes from a citizenry that values the foundations on which this country was built and is willing to defend it, then we must let Congress, The President, and Secretary of State Clinton know that we are not willing to cede control of our rights to the United Nations. This is yet another initiative to take from the United States and give to the rest of the world. This time it is our ability to protect ourselves. Let them know it's not OK.
