First, he laid out a set of cards with 50 names—each representing a past guest from the show. Joe picked one at random and held it quietly in his mind.
Then came the twist.
Oz told Joe to text the person he picked. Within moments, that past guest replied—and Oz instructed Joe to ask them two things:
Who was their first crush, and who was their first kiss?
Joe received two names.
From there, Oz went into mentalist mode. He watched Joe’s microexpressions. He asked how many letters were in the name. He told Joe to “mix up all the letters” in his mind. He watched his eyes dart.
And then, Oz took a leap: “Is the name Amanda?”
“Yes,” Rogan said—stunned. “What the f*ck did you just do?”
