The United States has always had immigration laws. In the earliest days, we restricted the inflow to Europeans with the exception of the human trafficking of Africans for chattel slavery. Then there was the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882, which stopped the flow of Chinese immigrants after many Chinese entered for their cheap labor. In 1917, we had the Immigration Act to restrict European immigration to people who could not understand English. In 1921, a quota was introduced. We placed restrictions on immigration from Southern and Eastern Europe as well as Asia in 1924. It was to "preserve the ideal of U.S. homogeneity."

That is not to say we shouldn't have restrictions. Certain philosophies, religions or political religions have not served us well. Many cultural practices are totally incompatible with our culture in America.

I am glad some Germans got in from Hamburg; otherwise, we wouldn't have the hamburger today. Maybe they weren't told that ham is pork. But they were from Hamburg. The same applies to Italy. Where would we be without pizza? Maybe thinner.

Fundamentalist Muslims have been particularly troublesome since their beliefs dictate to not abide by any government but Islam. Islam is a political movement disguised as a religion, hostile, totally incompatible with the freedoms we enjoy in America. In fact, in Europe, one can see a Muslim takeover well in progress. Many European countries have become divided into no-go zones. Some people are not welcome in their communities. Europeans, in their desire to not be labeled racist, are well on their way to losing their national identity, their Judeo-Christian religion and ethic, and their individual cultures.

Muslims insist on their laws, food, and culture. An Imam said recently from Virginia: "The World Is A Better Place Without Charlie Kirk; Seeing The Tears And Anger For Him Makes Me Smile." Should we let them in? We did. Now they want their own city in Texas.

Where many cities in Europe were relatively crime free, they now suffer the consequences of mass migration with stabbings, rapes, murders, even beheadings. Welcome to the New World Order!

For many decades, communist adherents have inundated our universities. Marxist beliefs assert that families are the original oppressors; therefore, we must abandon families, private property, capitalism, and our constitution. It has since trickled down to grade school level. We knew who most of them were. They were college professors, philosophers. We knew their writings. At the time they were considered quaint. Should we have let them in? We did. They immediately were welcomed in our top universities and began teaching our students the ways of communism. How has that worked out?

What was once liberalism in the 60s that worked for equality under the law has morphed into a monster of woke liberalism, which has fused with socialism. Make no mistake, the words "socialism" and "communism" are interchangeable. "Democratic socialism" is a nice term for the coming communism. Karl Marx viewed socialism as a transitional phase toward a classless society in which everyone would be equal. And his brand of equality was not just under the law but in everything...no capitalism, no private property, no family structure, no religion—the "opiate of the people."

The globalist movement will be a form of communism or more closely fascism. In fascism, the means of production remains in the hands of the oligarchs. Their idea of being a classless, stateless society will be one world government with the elite in control of everything. We give up everything, they give up nothing.

Some would say we should let them all in. Really? Is the transformation of our country into a nation of tribes, where opposing groups vie for control to destroy America, a beneficial thing?

Democrats are like a wounded animal, desperate and willing to go the distance to survive, and in their case, they have accepted murder as a means to an end. They may publicly mourn Kirk's death, but they are relieved. Charlie Kirk damaged them. Kirk attracted millions of young people whom the Democrats had taken for granted. He showed another way, political and spiritual.

Constant verbal accusations of dictatorship, Hitlerism, White supremacy, and fascism

No one can deny that the violence has been coming from the Left, which is fueled by hatred and constant verbal accusations of dictatorship, Hitlerism, White supremacy, and fascism, leaving many people in a state of anxiety, thinking they have to fight back.

The relentless pursuit of power by Democrats reveals a troubling belief that such power can alleviate their political and personal anguish, leading them to embrace extreme measures, including violence, as a solution. They, of course, do not have the fortitude to accomplish it themselves. Instead, they influence those with limited intellect to believe they have no choice but to act to save themselves from a world they are told rejects them.

The nation is undergoing a cleansing process that will continue for the next few years. For the Democrats, enduring this period will be painful if they can remain politically viable. If they cannot, the country will survive and be a better place. Maybe we'll even get more sleep.
