Hunkering Down and Cocooning
The most important thing for Americans will be getting through three long years of a president who hates America and Americans in the Oval Office
Love Glenn Beck for giving us reason to believe that FoxNews is not run by the Saudi Prince.
But can’t help but wish that he would be more George Washington like in trying to advise Tea Party troops. From all I read of the “Father of the Nation”, focus was his mainstay. Forced to deal with the reality of a nation being overrun by the Brits, he lived very much in the present, luxuriating in thinking about the past only when the battle was won.
Beck’s Blackboard lectures have reached into the “progressives” and we’re hearing about how Woodrow Wilson was one.
WW is long gone, while the progressive plant in today’s White House is living up to an agenda of fundamentally transforming America.
We the people who find Woodrow Wilson in history books can only cuss him. But there is no time to cuss Barack Hussein Obama, only a pressing need to find the legal way to get rid of him before he has totally dismantled America piece by piece.
In these dark days with a mainstream media still in adulation of Obama, we rely on the Glenn Becks of the Air waves to show us what to do.
Railing against Obama is fun to watch, but it’s how to legally get rid of him that an increasing number of people really want to hear.
If ACORN and SEIU are unable to hijack mid-term elections, the mid-terms and the Tea Party Movement’s hold over them are the only real hope and change for America.
Barring massive election fraud, the Dem stranglehold will be broken at the House and Senate after the mid-terms. Even though still stuck with Obama for three more years, he won’t have the votes he could count on before the mid-terms.
The most important thing for Americans will be getting through three long years of a president who hates America and Americans in the Oval Office.
As jobs dry up, banks close and people lose their homes, we the people will have no choice but to hunker down.
To a degree they already have hunkered down.
Have you ever taken a late evening stroll in your neighbourhood? Families are in their basements throwing another log on the fire, watching television, passing the night. Finding the energy to get through every day life is getting tougher. Even heating and lighting your home has become more expensive. Those running charities will tell you that more and more people are turning to them for help with their runaway utility bills.
Hunkering down is a kind of “cocooning”. People don’t want to answer the doorbell or the telephone. They are in for the night storing up energy for whatever tomorrow brings.
People know that they can look to each other and not the politicians for survival.
Those who can are stockpiling against inflation when things once considered commonplace are no longer affordable. Others are moving in with relatives in rural areas.
Most people are already aware of the dangerous road ahead.
Corrupt politicians notwithstanding, bad times bring out the best in people.
People will come to rely on their neighbours again. Hunkering down and cocooning means getting ready for the big battle which may someday include preparing to fight together, block by block, field by field.
The biggest miracle of human nature is survival.
Obama will not go until he is forced to do so on an Election Day some three years from now.
But that day will come. Until then we must all hunker down and somehow survive.
