I was so glad to hear Marco Rubio speak about civility, decorum and rules

The whole ugly Senate scene when Jeff Sessions was confirmed got me to thinking. I was so glad to hear Marco Rubio speak about civility, decorum and rules. First, the rules- the Senate has specific rules of behavior. Warren didn't see fit to follow the rules even after specifically being warned. So she was shut down. If the shoe had been on the other foot, I believe it would have been celebrated. It was heartening to see the Senate demand civility, perhaps a step toward restoring it on the streets. In their leadership role, they can and should set the tone. While I do not agree with Rubio on all counts, I think he, and others, should be recognized when they step up to the plate. I'll be sending him an email thanking him for supporting the Senate rules.
