After more than a year of Democrats shutting Republicans out of policy meetings, public partisan bashing, and blaming everyone else, is THIS how President Obama reaches out to the GOP?

If Massachusetts' unprecedented election of a Republican didn't happen (ending the Democrats' Senate super majority), along with the looming Democrat midterm electoral # whuppin', would Obama be reaching out at all?
