Liberals, Bless Their Hearts

Liberals believe they possess a superior sense of morality and are open-minded. They are neither. Many of the illegal immigrants they have allowed into our country have murdered men, women, and children, probably in the hundreds. As of mid-2024, over 13,000 illegal migrants have homicide convictions and are not in detention. And yet, Democrats protect them.

Liberals live in a different world, or a different reality, if there is such a thing.

They constantly strive to reinvent the wheel for no reason other than just being different, often disregarding traditional values and established norms in their pursuit of innovation. Being better doesn't enter into their equation, only different.

They provide the homeless with an income but cannot understand why they now have more homeless. They release criminals and now have more crime. They offer druggies needles, and they never seem to become drug-free.

Liberals are not constrained by convention, or certainly the Judeo-Christian ethic. But they are quick to judge a Christian who slips and falls, overlooking the beam in their own eyes.

For the most part, conservatives are conventional, shaped by thousands of years of societal experimentation that has been refined as much as humanly possible, primarily using what God intended, which includes adherence to traditional values and moral frameworks that have stood the test of time.

God is probably the original conservative. He made the world perfect and knew what will work and not work. He does not change (Heb 13:8). Adam and Eve, the original liberals, had a better idea. They believed the lie that they could be like God and thought they could compete with Him. The rest is history, leading to consequences that have shaped human existence and moral understanding ever since.

Liberals don't perceive threats as well as conservatives. They seem to have given little thought to the implications of allowing 20 million unvetted migrants into our country. They ignore the murder, rape, assault, and robbery committed by aliens. They even hide them and protect them from the law! Under their watch, many criminal offenses were downgraded from felonies to misdemeanors. How can rational liberal people behave this way unless they are irrational?

Liberals are like visitors at Yellowstone convinced that it's a petting zoo, eagerly posing for photographs beside the moose or the irritated bison that is about to bite them in the ass. They believe all societies and ideologies are equal because they are not grounded in any one ideology. 

They would probably think the Yaifo from Papua, New Guinea, would be fascinating to hang around with until it's dinnertime. Liberals advocate for giving hardened criminals the benefit of the doubt. The problem is, they always have doubt. Their doubts also include defunding the police and, similar to the new mayor of Seattle, expressing regret over the cameras that recorded two thugs assaulting a 77-year-old man as he was getting off a bus. Victims are always given a lower priority lest they look conventional.

The liberals' capacity for empathy is boundless. To them, every criminal has an excuse. Every Muslim is peaceful.

Sen. Gillibrand (D-NY), totally opposed to the use of military force to address the threat from Iran, said, “We did not have any evidence that Iran intended to imminently attack this country in any way, shape, or form!” She demonstrated enormous ignorance. Iran's religious doctrine makes any peace deal absurd. Iran's clerics believe to hasten the appearance of the 12th Iman, they must hasten that day through conflict and bloodshed. To them, it is a holy war. There will be no deal they will abide by.

In the 1930s, communists deported from Germany found teaching positions in American universities. Hitler did not want a competing autocracy. The universities found them to be intriguing, quaint, and very original, viewing their ideas as a refreshing alternative to the prevailing capitalist norms of Western civilization... all that 'free' stuff. Almost a hundred years and over 100 million dead later, we're now fighting a movement that says capitalism is bad and socialism is good.

That 'bad' capitalism raised the standard of living to the highest level ever achieved in human history.

Many would think that liberals are highly principled and will fight for what they believe in. Although liberals like to subvert convention and societal norms, many are quite versatile, readily canceling their ideological purity to obtain power. It's always temporary. Governor Spanberger of Virginia has now become somewhat infamous for her bait and switch to win the governor's seat.

Liberals or Democrats, call them what you want, have presided over an intentional economic collapse during the Biden years to centralize their power and force their socialist agenda.

They preach love and tolerance, and hate everyone that disagrees with them. In fact, they are mean. They are an unhappy bunch even when they win.

What drew me to God was His stability, His commitment, His permanence, His love. Not the gooey kind but the commitment kind that always acts for my benefit whether I like it or not.

Liberals are never at peace with themselves or the world. They are always searching because they are not at peace with God or themselves. They are even willing to abandon every principle they profess to uphold in their pursuit of power.

That's what it comes down to. I have learned to beware of those who are not restrained by convention or faith in God. Bless their hearts.
