Lindsay Clancy’s Lawyer Asks President Trump to Pardon Her

Lindsay Clancy’s defense attorney asked President Donald Trump on Tuesday to pardon the Massachusetts mother who strangled her three young children to death, days after a judge declared a mistrial in her murder trial.

Kevin Reddington made the request during an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

“Mr. President, I would hope that you would consider this young lady. The type of person she is, what she has been through, and consider a pardon,” he said.

There’s one major problem with his request that any good attorney should know. A president can’t pardon state crimes, only federal.

Clancy, 36, a former labor and delivery nurse, has not disputed that she killed her children. On January 24, 2023, she strangled 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan with exercise bands in the basement of the family’s Duxbury home after sending her then-husband, Patrick Clancy, out to pick up takeout and medicine. ---More...

Lindsay Clancy-Obsessed Mom Kills Her 2-Year-Old Boy, Blames “Psychotic Episode”

An Illinois mother who witnesses said had become deeply invested in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial is charged with killing her 2-year-old son by hanging him from a basement rafter.

Her attorneys say she was in a psychotic episode.

Corie Walsh, 40, appeared in court Tuesday and was ordered held without bond on three counts of first-degree murder in the Sept. 1 death of Barrett Walsh.

A medical examiner determined the boy died from asphyxia.

Two school-age children living in the home returned from school, found the scene and ran to a neighbor for help. The neighbor found Barrett hanging from a rafter with a ligature around his neck, pulled him down and performed CPR but could not revive him. ---More...

Idaho’s Proposition 1 Would Legalize Abortions Up to Birth

On Sunday, the Idaho Supreme Court finally agreed to the language that will appear on the November general election ballot concerning Proposition 1, formally known as the “Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act.”

On Friday, the court ruled that the language in the original statements prepared by the Idaho Attorney General’s Office and Secretary of State’s Office “did not comply with state code regarding clear and concise language,” according to Allison Shafter.

In a decision written by Justice Gregory Moeller, the five justices gave the Attorney General’s office and the Secretary of State office until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday to submit the revised statements, a very tight deadline which the two offices met. ---More...

Virginia Amendment 1 Creates Right to Abortion Up to Birth

Virginia voters will decide in November on a constitutional amendment that would establish a so-called right to abortion up to birth.

Ballot Question 1 asks whether the Constitution of Virginia should be amended to supposedly protect the freedom to make personal decisions about prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, birth control, abortion, miscarriage management and fertility care; protect doctors, nurses and patients from being punished for those decisions; and allow restrictions on abortion in the third trimester except when the patient’s health is at risk or the pregnancy cannot survive.

That language is mostly code for a right to kill babies in abortions on demand and without limits up to birth. ---More...
