Mark Carney Announces on American TV - ‘Kinda’, ‘Sorta’

Well, I guess everyone heard about Mark Carney’s little jaunt to the U.S., to make his debut on American TV. Now what does that tell Canadians?

Firstly, it tells Canadians that we aren’t worth the effort of making Canada first. Meaning, to Carney et al (Liberals), we’re merely those second-class citizens he looks down his nose at. Talk about an insult to Canadians.

What else will he announce in a back-handed manner? 

Secondly, to Americans, particularly with what President Elect Trump has been saying, to some, it may very well look like Carney was applying for the job of Governor to the 51^st state.

What was Carney, and his team, thinking to even propose to make such an announcement on American TV? Sure, he didn’t come right out and say the words that he was announcing his candidacy, but he did so in a back-handed manner.

Think about this – if he is going to make his announcement, that he is running for the Leadership of the Liberal Party, in a back-handed manner – what else will he announce in a back-handed manner?

Even the media have picked up on the fact that he didn’t say he would get rid of the carbon tax, merely that it isn’t the right time for it. So, when he is running for any position, always remember it might not be the right time to tell Canadians that the Liberals, like the NDP, whether they have Mr. Economics as their leader, are going to tax the life out of you, and they’ll laugh all the way to your bank, to take your money. Something similar to Chrystia Freeland when she froze Canadian’s bank accounts.

As for Trump. Being the person he is, with Carney quasi announcing on U.S. TV, do you think, maybe - just maybe, Trump will (i) look at this as if Carney was kissing the ring (U.S. butt), or (ii) is applying for the position of “Governor,” for the 51^st state?

For those who say Carney is such a smart guy, that was about one of the stupidest things Canadians have seen since …well I won’t go there. Suffice it to say Carney just insulted every Canadian, and more specifically every Liberal, by announcing on U.S. TV. Even then he stretched the truth to say he was an “outsider,” when he’s been the back-room guy (purported financial advisor) telling Justin how to buy Canadian’s votes with G.S.T. holidays, that mean nothing, and trying to buy Canadians with those, maybe not happening, $250.00 cheques – so much for his economic prowess – he just put Canada further in debt … What a genius – or not… depending on who you are…

Well, all one can say (tongue in cheek) is “good luck” to Governor Carney, whereas Canadians will only have to wait to see if the Liberal elitist Governor will tell us to suck it up and eat cake…
