Meghan Can Run Hapless Hubby Harry—But Not AmericaRep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) on Meghan Markle’s going to Washington: ’I think Americans made it pretty clear in 1776 that they don’t want members of the British Royal Family making decisions for them.' (Daily Mail), June 29, 2022) Right you are, Rep. Carter, Americans have had it with the Brits ever since forcing King George 3rd off of America’s soul and soil back in the day. A new threat for the present day comes America’s way from a clearly established “EX-ROYAL”.

Husband Harry, the “feminist”

“It comes after Meghan revealed she is willing to go to Washington DC to join protests against the Roe v Wade abortion ruling and urged people to vote in the November midterms in another big step into US politics backed by her 'feminist' husband Prince Harry. (Daily Mail) "Republicans have slammed the Duchess of Sussex for attempting to 'insert drama' into American politics after she gave an interview to Vogue alongside Gloria Steinem and urged US citizens to vote in the November midterms. “Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI) said: 'This is just another attempt from the ex-royals to insert their British drama in American politics. "'I don’t think anyone on this side of the pond cares for Meghan Markle’s opinion on killing babies. However, I think her running for President would be a great episode for The Crown.’"
Husband Harry, the father of Markle’s two children, is only a “feminist” in the eyes of feminists like Markle and feminist activist, Gloria Steinem.

Meghan and Harry are no strangers to political activism

“The Duchess of Sussex is seething over the Supreme Court's decision and told activist Gloria Steinem, 88: 'Well, Gloria, it seems as though you and I will be taking a trip to DC together soon’. (Daily Mail) “In an interview with Vogue, Meghan also urged men to be 'more vocal' with their anger at the repealing of Roe v Wade and revealed that Prince Harry's response to the Supreme Court's decision last Friday was ‘guttural'.
While the Duchess of Sussex describes ‘Prince Harry’s response to the Supreme Court's decision last Friday as ‘guttural’, some would call it “gutless”. Does Harry who abandoned princely duties, turning his back on his own grandmother the Queen at a critical time in her reign, think for himself, or only think in the feminist terms of his wife and Steinem?
“She (Markle) said: 'My husband and I talked about that a lot over the past few days. He's a feminist too' and in an intervention that will be widely perceived to be pro-Democrat, she said: 'We have to channel that fear into action. We can start this November in the midterms. We have to vote, every time’. (Daily Mail) “Meghan and Harry are no strangers to political activism and recently hired Miranda Barbot, a former aide to former president Barack Obama who was central to his successful reelection campaign in 2012.

Markle keeping open the option of entering politics

“In 2020 they were accused of 'violating' the terms of the 'Megxit' deal after repeatedly urging Americans to vote in the presidential elections. “Their words were widely seen as anti-Donald Trump, including by the president himself, as his supporters believed the couple were trying to mobilise postal voters, one of the key groups that swept Mr Trump out of power and won the election for Joe Biden. Mr Trump even promised to campaign for the White House in 2024 if Meghan was joining the race. “Last month Meghan also chartered a private jet to travel the 1,400 miles to Texas where she laid a bouquet of white 'peace' roses at a memorial to the 19 children and two teachers slain at Robb Elementary School but has not spoken out publicly about gun control. And she has recently lobbied senators on improving rights to parental leave. “Meghan's political ambitions have long been talked about since she and Harry emigrated from Britain including claims that she would 'seriously consider' running for president if her husband dropped his royal title. “And two years ago a friend of the Duchess told Vanity Fair magazine that one of the reasons she did not give up her American citizenship when she married into the Royal Family was to allow her to keep open the option of entering politics.

"She would also be following in the footsteps of President Ronald Reagan"

Yet the world had been led to believe that she “married into the Royal Family” all because of a fairy tale-type love.
“The rumours have clearly resonated in Washington DC, with the President Biden's sister, Valerie, 76, recently inviting the duchess to join the Democratic Party and saying that she would 'of course' make a good presidential candidate. (Daily Mail) “If she made it to the White House, Meghan would be the first female US President – succeeding where Hillary Clinton narrowly failed four years ago – and the second non-white occupant of the Oval Office after Barack Obama. “She would also be following in the footsteps of President Ronald Reagan, who was a Hollywood actor for four decades before switching to politics. During the 2020 campaign, the Duchess addressed the When All Women Vote Couch Party, the organisation co-founded by Michelle Obama to encourage participation in elections.”

Now that she’s been able to run husband Harry with no interruptions, she’s ready to run America

Guess Markle’s seven seasons with the USA Network's Suits can equate with Ronald Reagan’s four decades on the silver screen, as a duly elected Governor of California to boot! Meanwhile Markle’s managed the great leap of becoming a living legend in her own mind. Now that she’s been able to run husband Harry with no interruptions, she’s ready to run America. American patriots can thank fate that the term ‘God save the Queen’ will NEVER refer to hapless Harry’s wife Meghan Markle.
