The government’s response was to dismiss those concerns, insisting that we were spreading misinformation and that no one was trying to remove religion from the public square.

Now this directive has been adopted.

Our military chaplains have faithfully provided prayer, comfort, and spiritual guidance to the brave men and women who serve our country for generations.

Canada should protect the freedom of those who wish to pray, not silence it. We should be defending the religious freedom of our service members and chaplains, many of whom have served, fought, and even given their lives to defend the very freedoms we now risk restricting.
