My grandfather doesn’t believe in retirement homes

When we asked him about the cost, he said, “If I stay at a nursing home, it’s $200 a day and no one visits. If I stay at this hotel, it’s $100 a day. I get room service, a pool, and my grandkids visit me every weekend because they want to go to the beach. Plus, if I die in the lobby, the hotel manager will actually be upset.”

At the nursing home, they just call it ‘Tuesday’.
