Republicans/Democrats indistinguishable

Republicans and Independents are in a tough spot. For years we have had 2 major political parties with two very different philosophies and sets of beliefs. Over time, the career Senators and Representatives, and the leadership of both parties have snuggled closer and closer to each other so the difference are nearly indistinguishable.

This cozy relationship was the germination of the Tea Party. It grew from the desire of the people to have their voices heard. It grew from an understanding of our country, how it came to be and how it grew to a free representative republic. They understand that it is the freedom of person and thought that makes us great. Now the established and entrenched Republicans must decide to either carry on as usual or to hear the voices of their party who are demanding a return to the conservative positions of the past. R.
