Republicans, listen up

It is the duty of both parties to present to the American people the best candidates for office, to promote and support those candidates.

It is also the duty of the party machine to honor the wishes of the voters as those voters traverse the election cycle. It is NOT up to the parties to stomp their feet, threaten to advance new candidates half way through the process, or to refuse to support the choice of the voters. These behaviors are creating anger and distrust where it is not necessary. And Republicans, listen up; the Democrats are not only standing behind a liar and cheat, they are supporting her because, well, they like her but also because she is getting public support. What is wrong with the Republican party that it doesn't give their members the same courtesy? The voters are speaking. Shut up and listen. Wayne A. White Englewood, FL
