He promised to keep fighting for the issues he has championed during his campaign. One of the issues: Expanded Social Security Benefits; defies logic. We have the largest number of seniors ever qualifying for benefits, and the lowest number of contributors. In addition, you might remember that the Social Security Trust Fund was raided and the money replaced with an IOU from the US Treasury general fund. And you might also realize that the only way to meet the current obligations, much less increased benefits, will be to either print more worthless money or borrow it and go further in debt.
