Congress and the President seem to be after many Chickens with many Eggs

The Fox in charge of the Henhouse?

- Ian Jay Germaine When younger I had a workable knowledge of our Country and its formation. Our forming of the country because we had no representation before the British Crown and Parliament.

Seven bloody years of our Revolution brought about the official abandonment of the Colony’s with the signing of the Treaty of Paris in 1783. The feeling of not being an Englishman, but maintaining a merchant system and daily regulation of a non-inclusive Government began to breed discontent. Quantities of new Taxes and Laws seemingly to flex the muscles of Parliament to demonstrate their power finally caused more and more demonstrations. Like the one we called “The Boston Tea Party”. They sent their pleas for relief to King George in hopes the he could help as they took control of the governments of the thirteen Colonies. Well, that’s how we began. There was quite a bit of confusion in that some were for the breakaway, once the Parliament called us “Traitors” and there were some that were still for the Crown. The point is once our Colonist had committed the sin of letting Parliament and the King know with their words, it would have been like leaving the “Fox in charge of the Henhouse” Well we know that things are out of control. We can’t say it’s Parliament, but we do know a large number of components. It consists of the Banks and Financial Systems along with lobbyists , run by the Congress and series of Presidents rather then allowing free markets to survive or fail on their own. Congress and the President seem to be after many Chickens with many Eggs. Some might consider control and power. That is a “Change” And as was done in the forming of the United States “maintaining a merchant system and daily regulation of a non-inclusive Government began to breed discontent.” Congress instructing banks to do what doesn’t make sense, began a snow ball rolling downhill. It doesn’t take something in writing to make suggestions into threats. We don’t have to name names. (Dick, Barnie, Nancy, etc.) There are many Fox, with many litters. There are a lot of feathers. So many feathers that perhaps there are enough to make many beds. Now the question is, do we have “The Fox in charge of the Henhouse?”
