Zawadzki, a well known author and broadcaster based out of Toronto, was found in the days before Christmas busily signing copies of his new hit at the impressive 80 thousand square foot Starsky’s supermarket and galleria located on Dundas St. and Winston Churchill Blvd. at the Missisauga–Oakville border.

Along with the shopping facilities it also features a number of shops including a restaurant , florist and bookstore. “ Store manager Espo was so gracious since I first approached him about my project early in December and I was so fortunate to have met some incredible people during my Christmas signings. "Ewa Mazlowska, a customer who waited in line for 15 minutes to get a signed copy of the book, was excited about her Christmas time purchase.” I came to Canada almost 20 years ago from Warsaw with my family and to tell you the truth this book will appeal to Poles everywhere” "The Poles in the New World has indepth information about the accomplishments of the Poles in North America that even we newer citizens had little knowledge of." Zawadzki added later that it was to his delighted surprise that many from different backrounds bought copies of the book to learn about the history of these hard working people in the world known to all Poles as "Polonia".
