This is insulting to our nation

If the Democratic State Representative from Pennsylvania, Babette Josephs, doesn’t feel an allegiance to the United States of America, then the United States citizens of Pennsylvania should fire her. She cannot possibly represent people to whom she feels no allegiance. And further, she is woefully ignorant of the English language.

A pledge is a solemn promise. In the case of our Pledge of Allegiance, is a promise of loyalty to our country. Many of us still get goose bumps when reciting the Pledge. We say it and we mean it. Ms. Joseph has gotten her 15 minutes of fame, now she needs a life time to think about what she has done. She has insulted her constituents and our military. She has embarrassed herself and her state. God bless our beautiful country, Verna Rock
