Today, the U.S.-based Sikhs for Justice have set up large tents and barricades at Calgary City Hall for a Khalistan "referendum" scheduled for tomorrow.

"I think this is terrible and shameful that these extremists have been given public space and public resources to put on their terrorist convention," criticized a former Sikh when asked about the event.

The event is dedicated to Canada's deadliest terror attack, the 1985 Air India Bombings, co-conspirator Talwinder Singh Parmar, and other "martyrs" who died for the cause of Khalistan.

Calgary Mayor @JyotiGondek’s father was an executive with the world's most powerful Khalistani organization, the World Sikh Organization (WSO). The founder of the WSO was interrogated by the RCMP after the 1985 bombings. He was also a co-founder of the Khalsa Credit Union with Parmar’s brother and others involved in the terrorist plot.

Although the Mayor acts oblivious, she and Premier @ABDanielleSmith are cordial with Gurdwara Dashmesh in Calgary, which has been used as a base by the organizers of this "referendum" and has pictures of Babbar Khalsa terrorists inside.

There’s no doubt that vote-bank politics have made Calgary, Alberta a place of choice for foreign organizations seeking to set up events dedicated to terrorists.
