TRUMP LEAVES G7 EARLY, DENIES MACRON'S CEASEFIRE CLAIM: "MUCH BIGGER THAN THAT"
Trump and Secretary Rubio boarded Air Force One, cutting short the G7 summit as Trump blasted French President Macron on social media:
"Publicity seeking President Emmanuel Macron, of France, mistakenly said that I left the G7 Summit to work on a 'cease fire' between Israel and Iran. Wrong! He has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington, but it certainly has nothing to do with a Cease Fire. Much bigger than that."
Trump added cryptically: "Stay Tuned!"
Meanwhile, Axios reports the White House is discussing a potential meeting this week between U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi to pursue both a nuclear deal and an end to hostilities.
The contradictions deepen: Trump denies working on a ceasefire while his administration actively pursues diplomatic talks.
