Seems JT and the PMO just, either, can’t control themselves or they want to use that “poking of the bear” for the big “election excuse” that the economy isn’t JT, et al, fault, it’s the Trump Tariffs…

You know you have to hand it to the Prime Minister’s staff for coming up with this latest attempt to shift the blame from this Liberal government, to Trump.
You all might be wondering what in the dickens was the Prime Minister thinking when he decided to, as some say, poke the bear, next door. (CTV News)
Well, we all need to understand that we will be going to an election, sooner or later, in this country and the Liberals, including Justin Trudeau (JT), need something to blame for Canada’s financial horror story.
What’s the best way to do this?
You poke the bear, next door, ensuring the tariffs go on. Brilliant isn’t it?
It doesn’t do anything for Canadians or the fact that these tariffs might completely gut our economy, but at least the Trudeau Liberals will have some other entity to blame for our financial crash and burn.
As for stopping and/or mitigating the tariffs, there are ways to do this, but it seems our elected officials haven’t yet thought of them, with some of us already looking at how to do this. In some areas it would be very simple but that would mean our federal government would have to eat a lot of “global” crow. So much for “Team Canada” when the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) is undermining our Premiers’ efforts. Now if they’d just figure the “stopping and/or mitigating of the tariffs.”
There are ways and means to do this, but don’t think that’s going to happen, because that means JT, and his government, would have to admit they were wrong about a number of things. Not to mention if this solution was used, it has the potential to bring our Canadian economy to a place of prosperity…but I digress…
Hopefully, someone in the provincial governments and/or other levels of government will finally see the light and get a better plan to eliminate the tariffs, or, at the very least, mitigate said tariffs, so we aren’t harmed as much. Poking the bear just isn’t going to do it, and the PMO would know that…
As for any winners or losers. The only winner, in Trudeau’s game, is China, because JT is intentionally poking the bear.
Seems JT and the PMO just, either, can’t control themselves or they want to use that “poking of the bear” for the big “election excuse” that the economy isn’t JT, et al, fault, it’s the Trump Tariffs…
Until next time…
