Whoops, Guess Which State Has A New Unwanted Record?

I love it when these leftist states blow their own horn and are proven not only wrong but horribly wrong. Not that the statistics that prove them wrong will stop them from lying, but the truth is out there in opposition to their lies.

For example, Democrat-run blue states claim they are the best places in America to live. They ignore that, for years, residents have been fleeing blue states and rushing to red states like Florida, Texas, Tennessee, etc. Their progressive policies, which they push as positive and progressive, are part of a radical agenda that has nothing to do with the betterment of citizenship.

One recent Newsom brainchild was AB 1228, which institutes a new minimum wage for California fast-food restaurant employees. Hourly employees will now be paid at least $20 per hour, and the minimum annual salary for exempt managers will be $83,200.

That “progressive” move, which went into effect on April 1, has caused countless restaurants to close, several of which were considered icons. In addition, approximately 10,000 jobs have been lost. Very progressive, right?

Newsom thinks strict gun controls are the answer to crime. Apparently, he has never heard of Chicago. Anyway, he got a slap in the face with reality based on a recent report.

Breitbart reports:

New figures from the FBI show that heavily gun-controlled California led the nation in “active shooter incidents” in 2023.

The FBI “designated 48 shootings as active shooter incidents” in 2023. California was the leading state in the nation, having 8 of the 48 incidents, Fox News reported…

“The locations of the shootings were open spaces, places of businesses, and education centers.”

Ironically, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) consistently lauds the alleged success of gun control in his state while criticizing the looser gun laws in states in other parts of the country, such as Florida.

It's no surprise that states with the strongest gun laws tend to have much more gun violence. This is because criminals know nobody will shoot back. In fact, criminals have confessed that when they see “Gun Free Zone Signs,” they see an easy target.

Guns do not kill people; people kill people. The Second Amendment is protected just for that reason. When bad people have bad intentions, good people with guns can protect themselves.

It would be out of line to congratulate Newsom on his new state record because when he loses, the citizens of California lose. That said, they are the ones who put him in office and are the only ones who can remove him and his radical policies.

The question is when will they have had enough?
