Dear Editor,
Neither side of the aisle should be proud of the budget that was passed by the House. While both sides can rightfully claim some wins, the American people will see little appreciable improvement in their lives. The same can be said of the rewrites of Obamacare.
We elected Donald Trump to fix things, I would argue that he is trying. But as long as we have a gutless Congress that seems totally unwilling and/or unable to do their job, not much will improve. Even the abysmal approval numbers haven't caused anyone in Congress to change how they do business. I have to wonder if that is the real reason for Jason Chaffetz' decision to leave?
