The police come to your door, handcuff you, take you to jail and book you, all without any evidence that you may have actually committed the crime. Your next-door neighbor, who has hated you from the moment you moved in simply calls the police and informs them that you murdered his wife and they take his word for it, without any due process.The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
