In the author’s previous article on this subject the subjects of awareness and avoidance were discussed and the importance of both in protecting oneself from a possible assault discussed at length. In that article the carrying of a firearm, where legal to do so, was recommended for those willing to make that effort and assume the legal burden(s) of doing so. In this article it is the author’s intent to share the factors behind the selection of what handguns, are chosen to carry and some of the more important reasons behind such selection(s).
