Using politics and failed diplomacy is securing the P.M.'s ability to distract and support himself and not Canadians

Now, don’t faint, but I have to agree with Tom Mulcair[1] and Peter McKay,[2] on the how, what and why Trudeau brought out the RCMP, and the press, on Thanksgiving to regal Canadians with the India issues.
The issues that have come to my mind are:
Is this merely to distract media and Canadians from the internal issues of his leadership within the Liberal Party? After all, from media reports, he is, again, facing push back on his policies, leadership and how he is handling the potential election. Isn’t this the political game – distract, distract, distract?
