I am disappointed in the poor outcome in yesterday's elections, but not surprised. For what it is worth, this is my view. The SCOTUS Dodd decision stopped the "red tsunami" in its tracks. When it was leaked and then officially announced, I said it would hurt GOP chances of taking control of Congress in spite of Biden and the litany of woes to hang on the Democrats and in spite of historically the party in power losing seats in midterm elections.
The reaction to Dodd was immediate, strong, vocal, and backed by a lot of money. Don't forget that two generations had grown up with Roe v Wade as the law of the land. Every pro-choice person I know vowed to get Roe v Wade reinstated somehow not only by actions within their own state, but in the Congressional elections yesterday.
Folks, many elections are decided by 2% or even less. In these days of identity politics and one issue voting, the pro-choice voting block is a huge one and it got fired up more than any issue I have seen in my 73 years. So, lets say a group like that goes from 58% voting to 65-70% voting, that easily tips the final vote in favor of Democrats. So, in essence, these people were determined to punish Republicans for the Dodd decision in spite of inflation, high cost of heating homes this winter, doubling electricity bills, increasing crime, open borders, etc. They did not vote their pocketbooks, they voted to ensure that they could still kill babies in the womb. They won. The USA will continue its road to being a Godless Socialist shithole and second rate power under Democrat rule. God save us all!

Until we stop letting the democrats getting away with cheating, namely catching them in the act and immediately correcting the situation, we will keep losing. We arrogantly talked about the red wave but then the democrats made sure they had the systems in place to "rig the game" either by corrupted ballots, corrupted machines and machanism they could find to win.
They aren't going to play fair. Why are we? Morality? They have none. They are living by the Alinsky rules "By any means necessary".

Only FOX News with all their news desks and waves of reporters and personalities flatly assuming a GOP wipeout were visibly disjointed. That level of malaise with FOX was equal to the level of smug arrogance with other side tv channels as if there was a hard-fought victory. Inflation is still rising; diesel is becoming scarce; food supply chains are in danger as well as rail transport; crime is beating down the country again; children being abused by lockdowns and failure of public schools, and on and on. A lot of folks just vote along party loyalty only. The night also saw school boards across the country change; an entire state washed over in red along with many other governors. A Hillbilly with a law degree won a senate seat. Maybe winning control of Congress is victory enough and the American public just gave the GOP a trial period.

There's no mystery at all as to what happened. The same happened in the USA as happened in Brazil, France, Canada and everywhere except Italy: voters rejected the "racist, women-hating, rich-favoring, Earth-destroying, far right" Republicans. The MSM did their usual number on low information voters and, human nature being what it is, tens of millions of them were only too willing to believe the worst of MAGA.
We can suspect and even prove that there is election fraud but the fact remains that ???????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????.
