Again a very interesting informative article. Yes they should let history be what it really was. There were so few people way back then that could even write, even if in a different text that many who study these ancient languages can really understand so there ends of being several scholars rewriting old writings with now different meaning or understanding of. If they change it or not will we really ever know what was meant.
Even our forever changing meanings for English words, so many of our words actually change their meanings far away from what it used to mean so as languages develop and different areas use things differently use different names for the same thing even is very obviously for sure. So old writings are obviously impossible to exactly translate, just an educated guess possibly.
Even our new Bibles were written in more than one language rewritten in one than translated again to Latin, more than once, then to many other languages so exact meanings are very hard to know and to my understanding many parts were left out or hidden etc. over the centuries.
